Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Nirmaanpro (nirmaanpro.shop) collects when you use this website, and how it's used. It does not cover the Nirmaan Estimator Android app, which has its own privacy policy — see the link at the bottom of this page.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what's needed to deliver what you've paid for and to run the site:

• Email address — collected by Razorpay at checkout, used to send you download links for notes/ebooks and payment confirmations. We do not add you to any marketing list without your separate consent.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details on our own servers.
• My Account sign-in — if you use My Account, we store your email and a temporary, randomly generated sign-in link/session token, so you can access your purchases without a password.
• Local browser storage — the free calculators, mock tests, and shopping cart use your browser's local storage to remember your progress, unlock status, and cart contents on your own device. This data is not sent to us and stays on your device unless you're completing a purchase.

2. How we use this information

Strictly to: deliver the product you purchased, confirm payments, respond to support requests, and let you sign in to My Account. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

3. Third-party services

We use Razorpay to process payments and collect the email/contact details needed for that. Razorpay's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data. Our free tools and blog run entirely in your browser and do not send your calculator inputs to us.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage (not tracking cookies) to remember your cart, tool unlock status, and My Account sign-in session. You can clear this at any time through your browser's settings — doing so will log you out and empty your cart, but won't affect anything you've already purchased.

5. Data retention

We keep purchase records (email, product, payment ID) for as long as needed to handle support requests, refunds, and legal/tax obligations. You can request deletion of your data at any time, subject to what we're legally required to retain.

6. Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion, by contacting us — see below. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

7. Children's privacy

This site is intended for civil engineering students, professionals, and exam candidates, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
